Fire gutted a clothing store on Jalan KH Mas Mansyur, Kebon Kacang, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (5/12) morning. No casualty found in this incident. Yet the material loss of the store owner is estimated to Rp 200 million.

Based on the information gathered, the fire was first seen from an Irfan Collection batik store around 9.20 AM. As many as 12 fire trucks from Central Jakarta Fire Handling and Secure Sub-Department deployed to extinguish the flames at the scene. It could be managed about 20 minutes after the incident.
Fire in Penjaringan Injures One"We managed to control the flames quickly as the location near the fire department," said Head of Operational Section for Central Jakarta Fire Handling and Secure Sub-Department, Muchtar Zakaria.
However, the cause of fire that burned the 3x3-meter store is still unknown. "Its cause is still being investigated by police so far," he reported.
